Job Description:

The opportunity:

HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a product group in Hitachi Energy, which develops, manufactures, and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems.

 How you’ll make an impact:

  • You will assist for HVDC System Control design and implementation.

  • You will assist verification of control system at Factory system test.

  • You will be responsible for on-site installation and commissioning of HVDC Control & Protection System.

  • You will travel during Factory System Test & Site commissioning.

  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • You hold a degree in B.E./ BTech Electrical Engineering.

  • You should have 2 to 4 years of experience in Control & Protection.

  • You should have experience in design, testing and commissioning.

  • You must have knowledge in designing & validation of HVDC control system.

  • Open minded and creative in cooperation with colleagues and customers.

  • High commitment and willingness to perform.

  • Must be quick learner and flexible to work well under tight schedules in a fast-paced team environment.

  • Good communication skills.
