Main Purpose of Job
- Assist OneCape Finance Hub Team and Accounts Receivables Lead in ensuring that all daily/monthly banking requirements (payments and receipts) are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Help ensure that all KPI targets and SLA requirements are achieved by applying a proactive approach and placing emphasis on key target accounts. Manage all customer-related issues effectively.
- Liaise with internal teams / banking partners and LPA to ensure swift resolution to queries.
- Adhere to and promote group policies, processes and ethics and compliance practices.
Key Accountabilities - Maintain existing relationships, further develop and expand relationships with Principals (along with team leaders), ISS and 3rd party customers.
- Keep record of critical communication for audit trail.
- Adhere to already existing processes.
Specific responsibilities and accountabilities focused on accounts receivables are as follows:
- Review Bank statements and record transactions into accounting system (Unit 4), ensuring the compatible method is used to ensure integrations with operational systems are not affected.
- Possess knowledge in journal entries posting in finance system for payments & receipts.
- Match incoming funds / payment postings with invoices, as per the requirements.
- Liaise with the customers to chase for funds & clear the ageing bucket on regular basis.
- Ensure Beneficiary Letter of Banking data provided meet acceptable criteria before setting up new templates for approval.
- Perform FX payments by coordinating with payment providers, follow up the rates and make settlement to FX providers.
- Perform Bank reconciliation in Unit 4 system, send Ageing summary on daily basis and follow up with the teams to post the entries.
- FX bank allocations regularly and WD1 month-end books closures.
- Provide swift copies / payment confirmations when required.
- Ensure all stakeholder queries are resolved in a timely and efficient manner, with regular follow-up to close matters.
- Follow up process for new Letter of banking template for refund for our customer when new bank a/c is needed.
- Providing documentation to banks using information in financial systems when required.
- Follow rejected/ returned payments to payment team to ensure all parties are made aware of managing business expectations.
- Maintain working relationships internally with ISS service centers and colleagues in work location and maintain relationships with external customers.
- Keep supervisors advised on any outstanding / performance issues relating to job details.

Essential - Experience at Business Unit level with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities.
- Accounting backgrounds to understand basic book-keeping (debit/credit)
- ERP – Unit 4 (Preferrable)
- Banking platform – Citi Bank (preferable)
- Bcom (General)
- Always showing a proactive approach to work.
Desirable - Process orientated
- Experience of working in a pressurized environment as tasks are critical.
- Good attitude & Interpersonal skills.

I will ensure that I read, understand and comply with all company HSSE, Compliance and Ethics policies and procedures in effect on the Company’s Intranet, Athena, which may be updated from time to time- and avoid any activity that might lead to, or suggest, a breach of these policies. If there is an element of doubt, I will seek clarification. The term ‘Compliance’ covers all legislation, rules and codes in which the company must adhere to. I confirm that I will satisfactorily complete any training in relation to HSSE, Compliance and Ethics, as deemed necessary by the Company and will continually support and demonstrate the principles laid out in the ISS Code of Excellence and ISS Mission Statement. I understand that a breach of Company policies or failure to carry out necessary training may lead to disciplinary action being taken.
