Manage procurement activities by sourcing vendors, obtaining quotations, negotiating pricing and terms, processing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, coordinating with warehouse and accounts teams, maintaining purchasing records, resolving supplier issues, monitoring inventory, and ensuring timely availability and quality of materials.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, coordinate with vendors, process purchase orders, negotiate pricing, and ensure the timely availability of materials. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, along with proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
- Source materials and obtain quotations.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with stores, warehouse, and accounts teams.
- Maintain purchase records and vendor details.
- Resolve supplier-related issues and ensure quality standards.
- Monitor inventory and arrange timely procurement of materials.
Requirements
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Basic knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Good organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
