The Specialist I, Data Governance role supports IFF's global technology organization by delivering outcomes within data governance. This position partners with business and technology stakeholders to drive operational excellence, innovation, governance, and continuous improvement. The role is expected to influence decisions appropriate to its level, solve complex problems, and contribute to the successful delivery of strategic initiatives.

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Relevant professional experience aligned with the scope and level of the role.
  • Strong domain expertise and knowledge of enterprise systems, processes, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, documentation, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience using relevant technology tools and platforms to support business objectives.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer-focused skills.
  • Demonstrated accountability, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning and development.
  • Preferred certifications such as PMP, Scrum, ITIL, CISSP, CISM, AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Salesforce, SAP, or equivalent industry-recognized credentials.
