About this opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Authority Expert to join our world-class team at Ericsson, contributing to the future of managed services delivery through the Ericsson Operations Engine.
The Technical Authority Expert is a senior technical position responsible for providing advanced domain expertise, architectural guidance, and end-to-end technical leadership across multi-technology telecom networks. This role ensures high-quality service delivery, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and supports complex customer requirements across 4G/5G, SA, NSA, Transport, Core, and OSS domains..
What you will do:

• Act as the final technical escalation point for multi-domain issues across Transmission, RAN, OSS, 4G/5G Core, Transport, and related technologies.
• Provide architecture-level support for 5G SA & NSA network functionalities, call flows, orchestration, and integration aspects.
• Lead technical assessments, RCA reviews, and system-level problem solving for critical incidents.
• Propose enhancements for network reliability and performance optimization.
• Maintain a holistic understanding of end-to-end telecom network architecture - IP, Transport, RAN, Core, Cloud, and OSS/BSS.
• Coordinate across domains to resolve multi-layer technical dependencies.
• Collaborate with architects, field teams, vendors, and customer stakeholders.
• Provide governance for upgrades, configurations, integrations, and change activities.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs and KPI performance.
• Drive automation to improve efficiency in CR handling and service assurance.
• Identify recurring issues and risks before impact.
• Initiate corrective actions and process enhancements.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry practices.
• Communicate complex technical issues clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
• Prepare technical reports, RCA summaries, and performance insights.
• Mentor engineers across DS3, TA3, and other teams.

The Skills you bring :-

• Strong understanding of Telecom Network Architecture - Access, Transport, Core, OSS.
• Expertise in 5G SA & NSA, LTE, virtualization, and cloud-native platforms.
• Knowledge of routing, switching, MPLS, DWDM, RAN, microwave, and IP/Optical systems.
• Ability to perform deep-dive technical analysis
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proactive, decisive, and solution-oriented mindset.
• High attention to detail and analytical capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Telecom, IT, or relevant field.
• 9-14+ years of experience in telecom networks in senior technical roles.
• Experience with multi-vendor environments (Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, Cisco, etc.).
