What's It Like to Work at Toast?

I love working at Toast for various reasons. Toast is inclusive and always focused on my career growth. Also, working with restaurant owners and them telling you that you’ve made their dreams come true- words cannot explain that feeling. I love it here.

Witnessing the sustained enthusiasm of our volunteers and the exceptional dedication of my committee members is undeniably the most gratifying aspect of leading Toast.org in Bangalore. As we persist in bringing smiles to those we aim to help, I am filled with immense pride for the impact we've achieved through various initiatives over the past year

Joining the Emerging Markets team was a no brainer for me. I want to help the Asian restaurant community realize that we already have the most important factors of success, which are hard work and dedication, and now we just need some great restaurant technology that will elevate ourselves to the next level.

Being a part of the R&D team, I collaborate closely with cross-functional partners like Product, Design, Quality and Documentation to ensure alignment across the team and ultimately execution. Since joining Toast, I have been stretched both technically and non-technically, grown my career and become a stronger engineer and a more effective leader.

I love our bi-annual company-wide Hackathons! The mission is to provide all Toasters with the opportunity to innovate on Toast’s products, processes, & culture while fostering new connections between teams and people. I absolutely love seeing Toasters come together; the energy, enthusiasm, & passion for making Toast better is incredibly inspiring!
