We are looking for a Sr Manager of Engineering to join our Specialties Experience products engineering team. As a Sr Manager, you will partner with Product to drive the success and evolution of key areas of our entire product line. Job Responsibilities :
· Drive planning and execution for scrum team, to deliver releases in alignment with organizational and product objectives
· Maintain knowledge of product architecture, connective dependencies, technical concerns such as rollout strategies, performance and scalability to ensure the right decisions are made
· Develop your team; provide regular feedback to help them learn and grow
· Foster a culture of engineering best practices, collaboration, and continuous improvement
· Share the team vision and strategy to foster an understanding of the overall direction and the "why" behind decisions
· Assist Product Owners and TPMs to drive cross functional initiatives to successful completion
Typical Qualifications:
· Over 12 years of professional experience, including more than 3 years in leadership roles within a technical environment.
· Experience in distributed systems, cloud-based architecture and highly-available systems
· Proficiency in programming languages such as: C#, C++, Perl, Java, Python, React, and JavaScript/jQuery
· Experience leading teams in an agile environment.
· Track record of growing your engineers and teams
· Collaborative approach to driving best possible results and outcome for the customer
