Essential
- Recognised Project Management / PMO qualification or demonstrable experience.
- Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word/Excel/Visio.

- Experience of working in a PMO/project environment.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Good analytical, numerical and logic skills.
- Previous experience of identifying and managing risks and pro-actively addressing problems.
- Maintaining Reporting and Governance Frameworks.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Presentation and facilitation skills.
- Documentation configuration management.
Desirable
- Previous experience with PMO support for regulatory programmes and projects.
- Working with external clients in both private and public sectors.
Planning and Prioritisation
- Regular exercises to support and provide information (including risks, dependencies and assumptions) to the plans for the P&L.
- Facilitate the review of regular reforecast/budget exercises.
- Providing MI to enable project performance/resource demand to be tracked and monitored against Plan.
- Provide the relevant MI in a consistent format to input to prioritisation exercises across the entire EQRS Portfolio.
Reporting and Governance
- Contribute to the maintenance of the required portfolio documentation, processes and artifacts across the EQRS organisation.
- Responsible for portfolio reporting and aggregate project performance.
- Provide information to support requirements for GPMO and Group Audit to support the portfolio.
- Facilitate a finance management, risk management and benefits management process to track delivery of the portfolio against P&L business plans.
- Provide inputs, support and co-ordination for key portfolio governance meetings.
- Act as a gatekeeper/focal point for the Portfolio.
Stakeholder Management
- Facilitate fact-based decision making in relation to the management of the portfolio.
- Develop and maintain the Portfolio stakeholder map.
- Communicates clearly openly and honestly. Promotes integrity and will both voice and welcome views that challenges the majority view appropriately.
- Respected by peers. Takes responsibility and accountability for coaching and mentoring of others in their team and the wider project and programme community.
Change Quality
- Collate/provide feedback on the performance of the lifecycle/framework in relation to robustness and effectiveness of controls.
- Identify consistent or systemic challenges in portfolio performance to focus on improvements.
- Production and monitoring of executive level MI and KPI performance across the portfolio.
- Apply controls to provide assurance that projects are adhering to the agreed governance and framework standards across the portfolio, escalating where appropriate.
- To promote quality standards in order to drive adherence to the Change Lifecycle/framework.
