Lead technical execution of engineering projects (Newness level 2-3), manage budgets, solve critical technical problems using Valeo methodologies, communicate with customers, mentor discipline engineers, develop and validate design standards, drive digitalization and continuous improvement, propose innovative solutions and support IP filings, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver integrated engineering solutions.

Lead and enforce engineering discipline processes and design rules for software projects. Plan, schedule, and budget discipline activities, ensure robust design and validation, perform or support calculations/simulations/coding and acceptance tests, prepare design reviews, interface with customers, escalate to product technical leadership, and manage a team by assigning work packages and tracking resources, spending, and milestones.

Lead discipline engineering for automotive electronics: define and consolidate discipline requirements, design complex features, support RFQ technical choices, perform technical reviews, plan feature delivery, assess performance, contribute to system architecture, and coach technical reviewers.

Execute technical engineering solutions within defined projects, support problem solving using standard methodologies, prepare technical documentation, coach junior engineers, apply design standards, adopt digital tools, contribute to continuous improvement and innovation, and support budget-aware resource use within the discipline.

Design and deliver gearbox/reducer components and assemblies using CAD and PLM. Produce 3D models and 2D drawings, apply DFM for casting/plastic, perform GD&T and stack-up analysis, support prototyping, testing, calculations (including thermal and worst-case/statistical), and ensure regulatory, quality and environmental compliance.
