Owns complex, high-volume North American payroll processing for more than 5,700 employees across the US, Canada, and Mexico. Responsibilities include Workday payroll administration and EIB data loads, escalations, tax filings, audits, SOX controls, reconciliations, reporting, system testing, compliance, vendor coordination, and employee support. The role also mentors payroll specialists, improves processes, maintains documentation, and serves as backup to the Payroll Team Lead while working US Eastern hours from India.

Build and maintain full-stack accounting integration features using Java, Kotlin, React, TypeScript, and AWS. Develop financial data synchronization services, REST APIs, third-party integrations, merchant-facing interfaces, and AI-powered capabilities. Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, participate in code reviews and on-call support, and collaborate with Product, UX, QA, Fintech, and partner teams. The role owns features end to end within established architectural patterns and requires hybrid work in Chennai two days per week.

Oversees Salesforce, NetSuite, dashboards, workflows, and related support tools.
