The role collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and production teams while supporting aerospace standards, cost analysis, project timelines, and process efficiency.

Create and refine high-quality Class A 3D surfaces for aircraft exteriors, interiors, and industrial products using Autodesk Alias. Translate sketches and clay models into manufacturable surfaces, resolve curvature and reflection issues, maintain continuity and surface integrity, and collaborate with designers, engineers, and stakeholders through iterative reviews.

Provide end-to-end IT support, including employee device setup, software installation, operating system updates, asset tracking, troubleshooting, onboarding, and offboarding. Support digital, commercial, and engineering teams while maintaining code quality through reviews and testing. Lead data engineering teams and manage complex, multi-source datasets and cloud infrastructure.

Develop and manage aircraft mass properties, center-of-gravity data, and static, dynamic, and aerodynamic load models for an eVTOL aircraft. Lead multidisciplinary design optimization for electric aircraft, managing automated engineering trade studies and high-level aircraft configuration. Develop low-fidelity simulations, surrogate models, and optimization workflows to identify Pareto-optimal designs. Translate market needs and mission requirements into technical specifications, assess propulsion integration, and convert optimization results into practical aircraft design recommendations while considering regulatory constraints.

Designs aviation-grade electronics for battery management, traction battery packs, HV/LV converters, and thermal management systems. Responsibilities include schematic capture, component selection, multilayer PCB layout, mixed-signal and high-speed design, signal integrity, compliance with aerospace standards, hardware-software interface definition, lab debugging, board bring-up, HIL testing, and environmental qualification support. Collaborates with mechanical, firmware, harnessing, validation, and testing teams throughout the hardware product lifecycle.
