Provide world-class customer support for Toast and xtraCHEF through phone, chat, and email. Resolve issues using product knowledge, troubleshooting, probing, and creative problem-solving. The role requires adaptability, multitasking, strong communication, fast typing, teamwork, and availability for rotating 24/7 shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Provides Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for operating systems, applications, hardware, meeting-room technology, and AV systems. Manages ServiceNow tickets, IT asset lifecycles, onboarding equipment, inventory audits, and escalations. Supports company events and town halls through AV setup, rehearsals, live issue resolution, and teardown. Maintains knowledge-base content, contributes to process improvements, and delivers customer-focused service while meeting SLA targets.

Manage $25M+ in indirect procurement spend across hardware, software/SaaS, professional services, marketing, branding, and events. Develop sourcing and category strategies, negotiate contracts, optimize Procure-to-Pay workflows, mitigate risk, and deliver savings. Partner with stakeholders, advise US-based teams, translate spend data into initiatives, and implement AI-driven procurement automation and insights. The hybrid Chennai role operates from 2 PM to 11 PM IST.

Provide frontline support for Toast Payroll & Tax via chat, voice, and casework. Resolve payroll and tax issues, troubleshoot calculations and configurations, guide customers through payroll workflows, collaborate with operations teams, protect confidential data, and support process improvements while meeting SLAs in a 24×7 rotational shift model.

Manage, coach, and develop a customer care team supporting Toast Payroll and Tax. Oversee performance, quality, productivity, SLA attainment, escalations, training, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Partner with payroll, tax, product, engineering, onboarding, and restaurant success teams to resolve issues, identify trends, improve processes, and support product and technology changes in a 24/7 SaaS environment.

Supports day-to-day People Operations by maintaining accurate employee data in Workday and other HR systems, handling employee inquiries through ServiceNow, managing documentation and compliance tasks, supporting requisition creation, conducting audits, and improving processes. The role requires confidentiality, organization, attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.

Design and implement full-stack features with minimal guidance. Collaborate with PMs, UX, QA, and engineers. Build frontend components (React/Angular) and backend services (Java/Kotlin/.NET). Develop and consume RESTful APIs, use Git, Gradle/Maven, and troubleshoot production issues. Participate in code reviews, follow architectural patterns, and support delivery during critical phases.
